10. Kim So-yeon (김소연, 金素妍)

Kim So yeon is best known as a television actress, primarily on the series All About Eveand Iris. She also appeared in the Hong Kong film Seven Swords in 2005 and has been acting since 1994.

9. Kim Yoo Jin (김유진, 金楢真)

Kim Yoo Jin, known as Eugene in English, is a singer, actress, and emcee. She made her debut in 1997 as part of the popular female group S.E.S. Since 2002, she’s released two solo albums, has been featured in several TV series and films, written a couple of books and has hosted numerous festivals and award shows.

Lee Da-hae is known primarily for her work in TV. She made her debut in 2002 on the drama Ling Ling and has since appeared in the series My Girl and Green Rose. She’s also dabbled in dance and music, and can be seen in several music videos and ads throughout Asia. She’s set to make her film debut in the 3D Korean movie Song of Spring.

Son Ye-jin is one of the most popular actresses in not only South Korea, but also Asia. She made a name for herself in 2001 as the lead in the series Delicious Proposal. She’s also appeared in the series Sun-hee and Jin-hee, and Daemang: Great Ambition. She’s also found success in film with the movies Chi-hwa-seon, Lovers’ Concerto and The Classic. Her next film will be her first blockbuster action flick,Tower, a remake of the 1974 Hollywood film The Towering Inferno.

Song Hye-kyo is arguably the most famous Korean actress in Asia. Her rise to stardom began in 1996 when she won the Grand Prize in model search in SunKyung Smart. She quickly move on to acting with the drama Merry Morning. She has since gained more popularity through television dramas such as Autumn in My Heart (2000), All In(2003), and Full House (2004). Song is also one of the most in-demand product endorsers in Korea appearing as a spokesperson for Nintendo DS, McDonalds and Levi’s. She’ll next be seen in The Grandmasters, a biopic about Bruce Lee’s kung fu master Ip Man.
